PROJECT CONCEPT

Aside our continuous service of feeding and clothing the homeless on the street, SHi’s major goal is to help the homeless transition from impoverished conditions to a state of self-sufficiency, where they can add value to the society.
With the obvious effect of homelessness on the Nigeria economy and local insecurity, the need for a Shelter solution is dire.
We can help solve it but we need your support!

Support Our Cause

We have a mission to establish a community shelter program that will house Nigeria's homeless residents, provide high end skills and transitional solutions that will help them become valuable members of the society, reduce unemployment rate amongst the youth, strategically reduce street crimes and clean up uninhabitable land sites through our plastic waste-to-building brick innovative construction concept.

The SHi Recycle Concept

SHi was founded with the aim of solving the homelessness crisis that has plagued Nigeria, by providing a shelter community to house and transform the homeless, using an innovative concept of plastic waste recycling for construction bricks and thus cleaning up waste polluted lands that are currently inhabitable.

Our Communal Shelter Program will house over 1,000 homeless persons at a time, provide employment opportunities and high-end life skills, reduce street crime and insecurity, increase youth productivity, ensure displaced children survival and development, massively reduce plastic waste pollution and increase life expectancy.

SHi PROJECT STRATEGY

The SHi Communal Shelter Program is made of 3-Tiers built to help facilitate the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

TIER 1

This is the initial onboarding stage where  homeless Nigeria residents are enrolled into our shelter community and provided with a conducive living and learning environment for growth, healing and recovery.

Every resident is expected to enlist in a skill acquisition program as part of the live-in requirement so as to ensure growth and influential changes.

TIER 2

With the skills and earning exposure provided to residents, individuals and families at their own pace can progress from a mass shared living quarter to a semi-private living unit and arrangement within the community for a minimal fee so as to facilitate self-dependency and responsibility.

TIER 3

On the premise of a varse range of connections and affiliations which we intend to secure through our top of the art, quality skills and craft; competitive exposure and awareness in and around Nigeria will set residents up for financial freedom. At this stage, residents can transition from a semi-private shared living quarter to a fully private living unit for a considerable fee and as such preparing them for societal re-integrat

It is the SHi dream that every homeless person that passes through our doors become a valuable and contributing member of the society, wherever and whenever.
